After winning the UK National Championships and attending the British Grand Prix, Team
Momentus went to a local primary school to share their experiences.
To help raise the teams profile in the local community Team Momentus made a visit to a
local primary school to take a lesson on Formula 1 for an afternoon. Here the
team spoke about what they had done, how they got in the position that they are
and then did some activities. To keep the children occupied Team Momentus had
groups of 5 circulating 5 different tasks - First to design a logo, second to
play on the Team Momentus racing game, third to colour in a racing helmet, forth
to race scalextrics and finally to colour in a racing car. The afternoon was definately
a success and all the children seemed to thoroughly enjoy it. The week after, all the pupils
wrote thankyou letters which the team were delighted to receive.
